My little shadow, my soul-dog!

Our scruffy-nut, little doofus finally let us know that it was time to let him go yesterday morning.

He had been battling lymphoma since July last year. We opted not to do any chemo as he had several health issues already and committed ourselves to making him as happy and healthy as he could be for as long we possibly could. We were told he had 4-6 weeks without chemo, but he did us proud and stayed with us for another 7 months... until he was ready to be with Bella again.

Run free little scruffer-nut! You made us laugh every single day.
Thank you for choosing us to share your life with.
We love you and miss you so very much, but know you are having the time of your life, reunited with Bella, running amok like you always have.

Over the weekend, I wrote a new blog article about "the true value of prints". Funnily enough, this coincided with Mother's Day, which was the prompt for the article.
As you'll read in the article, I grew up in a family of photographer's, my Mum being one of them, but when she passed away suddenly a few years ago, and we had to find a photo of her for the funeral brochure, we realised she took a stack of photos in her later years, but didn't actually appear in many.
